Radically Transparent - Book Coming Early 2008
July 28, 2007 – 9:43 pmGreat work! You’ve obviously figured out the name of the new book by reputation management experts Andy Beal and Judy Strauss - Radically Transparent: Monitoring and Managing Online Reputations.
Radically Transparent is the first book to discuss how to build and manage your online brand - using search, blogs, and other social media - and will help companies and individuals join the online conversation.
The book is being published by Wiley and will be at your favorite bookstore around February 2008.
Ahead of the book, this blog will become more active and we’ll share with you the latest research and advice for managing your internet brand. In the meantime, feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions.
Thanks!
Andy & Judy
One Response to “Radically Transparent - Book Coming Early 2008”
Online reputation was a topic of academic interest to me until a few bloggers with a personal vendetta started an anonymous blog and engaged in slander, libel, and racial and ethnic slurs. This happened at Alfred State College in Western New York where I was the President. The media had a blast and in order to sensationalize repeated some of the salicious comments from the blog. Educators violated all the codes of conduct and professionalism that we expect our students to uphold. Legal recourse is expensive and there is no guarantee of results. The best recourse is for each of us to do our homework before we conclude about someone based on what we read about them in blogs. In order to assist others, I started blogging on this topic. www.onlinedigitalreputation.com
I wish you the best of success with your book and if I can be of any assistance, let me know.
